MADRID NOVEMBER 2016

After several months of preparation, a group of 14 students and two teachers from Cotham School in Bristol arrived in Tres Cantos in November to meet their host families and future partners.



 On the first day they attended some lessons and to practice their Spanish in class


 





............... followed by a traditional Spanish breakfast of hot chocolate and churros



..... a gymkana around Tres Cantos and a visit to the Town Hall


   In the afternoon we all went together to Madrid







At the weekend, time to spend with friends and family

BRISTOL - APRIL 2018 On Wednesday 11th April we were off to Bristol to see our friends again, who were waiting for us at beatutiful Temple Meads Station Thursday 12th We spent the morning walking around the beautiful city of Bristol with our exchange partners and visiting the most relevant sights: Walking down to Clifton Village Slide Rock Walking back to Cotham School Friday 13th We spent a fantastic morning at Bath with our partners, visited the Roman Baths, participated in a photo-gymkana, and finally had lovely tea and scones near the Cathedral .... until the pidgeons attacked!! Tres Cantos - February 2018

For a second consecutive year our IES Pintor Antonio López has received the visit of students from Cotham School in Bristol.  This time it was a group of 15 enthusiastic and lovely students, together with their teachers Ms. Swaine and Mr. Morton. We welcomed them at the airport in the evening on February 21st and went straight away to meet their partners in Tres Cantos TRES CANTOS Thursday 22 While the Spanish partners had lessons in the morning, our Cotham visitors had their first contact with the city of Madrid, beginning with a typical breakfast of chocolate con churros  at the most traditional place in the city San Ginés Once full of energy, they went south to Matadero  in order to do a bike ride along Madrid Río , which allowed them to see the city from a different perspective and was surely good exercise an lots of fun A nice stop to rest and see Goya's paintings at San Antonio de la Flo
